In the past, sending statements of account, credit cards, checkbooks and invoices was costly or inefficient.  Urbano was born in response to the needs of several companies that needed to send mass mail to their customers, in an efficient and cost-effective way.

Urbano Ecuador established in 1996, and in a few years, it became the largest mass mail delivery company, even exceeding the National Postal Service.

The Holding was created in 2000, with domicile in Delaware, United States of America, in order to expand our business around Latin America.

Ecuador
Operations started in May 1996, providing mass mail delivery services at national level. 

El Salvador
Also in 1998, with offices and agencies countrywide, being the largest and leading company of the industry. 

Perú
Started operations in August 2003, and currently is the leader in the postal service market.

Argentina
On March 2004, Urbano acquired most of the stock in Rowing Postal, providing 100% coverage.  Later, it merged with MailCorp S.A.  It is the second private company in this field of activity.  

Urbano operates in 4 countries, has over 2100 employees and handles the delivery of over one million cards and valuable shipments; over 240 million shipments in 2006. 

Urbano is the Postal Service for Latin America.
