Barcodes
Barcodes Structure
For adequate delivery control, each document must have a barcode printed in the window or in a visible part of the envelope. The barcode will have the following format:
• First two characters are the ID assigned by Urbano. Example: AE = Aerolíneas Emsa.
• The next two characters are the product ID, as established by Urbano. Example: EE = Statement of Account.
• The next four characters identify the closing day and month or date of delivery. Example: 1201 = 12 January.
• Up to 16 digits with the unique ID customer code, as for example: 1234567890123456 = Unique customer code.

Data base
The customer needs to furnish a database for each delivery cycle, which is used to validate the quality of the addresses and make any adjustments to minimize the number of undeliverable shipments due to bad addresses, incomplete or incorrect addresses. This is made by using the GIS system.

The GIS system automatically assigns the area ID. Databases enter this process every month for control purposes and allocation of areas for address changes.
